Description of Project
We were asked for our assistance on a project to set up a new centralised collections unit and implement a collections package that would be interfaced to other Bank systems.
Phase 1 included a restricted product and customer set to prove the concept, and saw our consultant work as Acting Project Manager while a Bank Manager was recruited for the role.
Chaucer's Scope
In summary, our scope in the project included:
- The project management and planning
- The management of the project's requirments definition phase
- Liaison with business, technical and operational management
- Minimising the package modifications
- Ensuring that project teams were delivery focused
