‘Getting back to business’

Chaucer held a ‘Getting back to business’ evening in London on 27th October. The evening was attended by senior executives from several countries. 

Bob Laslett, Chaucer’s Global CEO welcomed the guests who represented a variety of industries including; energy and resources, pharmaceutical, financial services, technology, manufacturing and the public sector.

The keynote speaker was Dennis Turner, Chief Economist at HSBC with Jez Moxey, Chief Executive of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club giving a presentation on the business of Premiership Football. Both of the presentations were first class and gave an interesting, illuminating and informative perspective on business financials in today’s challenging market.

This is the second such event held by Chaucer and from the feedback provided by guests was deemed both very successful and of value to all who attended. Other Chaucer Directors at the event included Deborah Feakins, European Sales Director and Nick Faure, European Operations Director.
