Howard Tame started his Chaucer career as an IT services manager, and has acquired project management skills during a long & varied list of Chaucer assignments predominantly in the oil & gas sector. Most recently he has been providing independent project controls and assurance in a PMO-type role.
 
Howard is a team player with a high level of integrity and commitment, but can also stand alone and provide objective advice where necessary.  He has a data-driven approach to problem solving and is able to identify salient points from a mass of information. He is well used to operating in a changing environment and is able to accept and adapt to change as necessary.

Howard  has a proven track record of working effectively with business people from all organisational levels, and from many different cultural backgrounds, giving him awareness of the importance of allowing for cultural differences in the workplace. He has delivered training around the world, and has lived & worked in France.
 
Outside of work, Howard is an active member of a local amateur theatre group, taking regular roles on-and off-stage, and a committee position responsible for publicity of productions. This has given him some insight into zero-cost marketing.
