Maria Elena Carrillo has a vast experience in the banking industry having worked for several years as Operations Manager for Banco del Pichincha; an internationally recognised financial institution offering corporate, treasury, retail and private financial services. In 2004, she was granted a visa under the Highly Skilled Migrant Program launched by the UK government and moved to the UK where she became a Consultant for Chaucer Group. In her experience as Project Management she has worked for companies such as Shell, BP, American Express Middle East, among others. Maria Elena holds a bachelor degree in business administration, a post graduate degree in business administration and an MBA. She also has a good knowledge of Spanish, French and Portuguese. In previous years she has been a lecturer at two South American universities in Financial related topics.
