Peter Hamilton is a highly experienced professional having worked as a VP for a European oil company and CEO for a European mining company and in Senior Project Management positions with companies such as BP, Enterprise Oil, Rompetrol and Wood Group Engineering since 1975.

As a Principal Consultant and Project Manager with Chaucer, he has a successful track record in managing and delivering major complex and diverse major Oil and Gas Technology and Engineering Projects and Programmes in the Energy sector; both offshore and onshore in numerous locations worldwide. 

Peter also has extensive experience of managing and delivering all aspects of difficult and complex business projects including Business Process, Technical, Commercial, Legal and Regulatory issues across the entire value chain and asset life cycle.

Peter has managed teams on a wide range of projects achieving demonstrable success including major business process re-engineering projects, complex business restructuring projects, complex deep water exploration projects developing new exploration techniques, offshore mature asset management, deep water mining technology research and development and IP management and successful negotiation of offshore licensing and production sharing agreements.

Peter holds a National Diploma in Marine Engineering from the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.
